I guess I just want things to move fast! I know my debit hit the bank, but stupid Chase bank leaves them pending for a day or whatever. ARGH! Thanks Christeen-I'll check tonight and see if it went thru. I want to send out my 864 tomorrow while I'm still in town!!!! And hi Ms. Sheka!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Oh cool! My hubby told me that's on the west coast-I'm assuming he's not on a cruise!!! It's snowing in part of Finland...brrrrr

I'm taking my daughter to Montana to look at MSU-she's going to major in photography and they have a photography school/major there. Let me know if you've ever heard of it, or any other four-year schools you know of with a good photography program! She's very good at it even though she's only 17!

My husband is working on a ship there... His new job is troubleshooting boilers on ships so he has to fly all over... This time the ship is in port!

Honestly, I dont know about photography schools, I kinda fell into it and never had any formal training... Just loved taking pictures and learned as I went along and worked under a photographer... But I am sure a good training and base of knowledge would give her a head start....

Hi Sachniky...

The 3032 can be e-mailed using the template in the shortcuts to NVC (from the beneficerary's e-mail address)... no need for barcodes

The AOS package will have a cover sheet and barcode (the petitioner will fill that out and get the cover sheet after paying the bill online)

The 230 package the benificerary can fill it out and mail it to the US... Once the IV fee bill is paid, the person in the US can print the cover sheet with the barcode and mail it off...

Hope that clears it up...

Hi y'all. I am back after tearfully leaving my wife behind in Lima, but we did have a spectacular week together :) Then, the second I touched down in Atlanta, being too early to call my wife yet, I call the NVC AVR, only to end up being crestfallen at hearing the "no record" message. This afternoon I called again and the same thing, so I talked to the nicest customer service representative and am now the proud own of two, count 'em ... 2!! NVC case numbers (1 for my wife, and 1 for my stepson). They (NVC) are now the proud owners of corresponding email addresses for the corresponding cases. So, let's get this party started!!

My wife and I also managed to get all the paperwork started and most of it I already have with me ready for the 232... I am still certain that there will be last minute mail flying back and forth between us gumming it all up a bit, but we did what we could.

Mark :)

Now off to see how MsSheka is doing....

PS Congrats on the NVC case #s Mark! Oops I forgot to write that.

Thanks And Sam! I can't believe my daughter's at the "look at colleges with mommy" stage. ha! I really look forward to our weekend away though! I hope my aos fee clears tomorrow, or I'm waiting until Monday. I thought about bringing my aos package with me to Montana and sending it from there, but that might be too much of a hassle (or I'll end up losing it!). I only lose a day or two if I wait anyway...
