good afternoon!!! on part 7 of the form I-864 (AOS) where it asks for assets to supplement income (optional) theres no need for me to fill this whole part out, would it be ok to just leave it blank????

USCIS Stage

August 19, 2009: Mailed I-130 to Chicago lockbox priority mail

August 23, 2009: Package received in Chicago

August 27, 2009: NOA1

August 31, 2009: Touched!

September 21, 2009: Touched

September 25, 2009: Touched

September 28, 2009: NOA2 hard copy received (approved 9/23)

NVC Stage

October 6, 2009: Case received

October 7, 2009: Case # assigned

October 8, 2009: Updated email addresses.

October 9, 2009: AOS fee Bill generated

DS3032 email received

October 10, 2009: AOS fee bill paid

DS3032 send (email)

October 13, 2009 DS3032 sent thru snail mail

October 15, 2009 AOS bill PAID. printed cover sheet

To answer correctly I need a bit more info... Did you make 125% above poverty level or are you using assets to qualify... If just using income, then you do not need to fill out the asset part...

yes, I make 125% above poverty level, Im not using any assets to qualify.. can i just leave them blank then??? or do i need to put N/A??

I paid the AOS fee and printed the coversheet already. I tired to logon again today but I received Sign In failed. Is this normal?

my husband served in the Philippine National Police, is that considered military service??? is he required to submit a Military service record for form DS-230 (item #34)??

That I cannot answer as I am not familiar with the military service in the Philippines... Perhaps the regional forum can address that specific question?? Or somebody here from that region?? Sorry

You said it was after paying the AOS fee ($70) which would indicate that you have not sent in the 230 and supporting documents yet correct? If that is the case, they it might just be a website problem... What exactly does the failure say? The login failure for case complete comes AFTER you have sent in all the required info and the message is someting like "there is no further processing on this file"

yes, I make 125% above poverty level, Im not using any assets to qualify.. can i just leave them blank then??? or do i need to put N/A??

Finally, you can do an 864EZ since you are not using assests...

2009-12-17 - Case complete e-mail message, sign in failed on website and AVR... YAY!

2009-12-17 - Waiting for an appointment assignment...

2009-12-29 - Interview assigned: February 11, 2010!

2010-01-06 - Case forwarded to consulate.

Consulate:

2010-01-12 - Medical exam part 1 of 2 complete.

2010-01-26 - Medical exam part 2 of 2 complete. Ouchie!

2010-02-11 - Interview results: Administrative Processing 221(g) :-(

2010-04-27 - 2nd interview results: Approved :-)

2010-05-04 - Visa in hand!

No, I would not put you in the document as a preparer, that part is for Lawyers etc... At least that is how I understood it, perhaps others have a different idea...

I filled everything out for my wife and I didn't put my self as the preparer. I'm with christeen that part is for lawyers or agents

Thanks again for the answers... found out the answer to my "police service record' question earlier.. :blush: turns out it is considered under military service.. so im submitting his PNP records as well...

just got the choice of agent and aos fee bill by emaill... i have ONE mroe question.. i had my husband fill out and sign a choice of agent form last SEPTEMBER, but i forgot to tell him not to date it. would it be a problem if i send an agent of choice (snail mail) that is post dated?? (just received the choice of agent email fr NVC today..)

Sigh, still waiting for my husband to send out the AOS. I can't really blame him though, he's so busy over in the middle east. =[ I hate deployments. I'm glad to see that you're all moving along though. ^_^ GRATS.
