Good question? Not sure if it is just a random thing for case # assignment or if there is anything to their system... I noticed that some cases seem to just process slower. For instance, for many of the April and May filers at USCIS, there are quite a few still sitting there and July, August and Even September have been processed??? Random I guess??

Hi all,

Just received my AOS fee and DS-3032 form in email. Now waiting again to get that Paid status so that I can send my AOS package. I have read a lot of threads on the package detail but I want to confirm it again here. I will be sending:

Cover sheet from the NVC website

My personal cover sheet of the package

I-864 Form - not the instructions part just the checklist page and the form correct?

6 months of pay stubs

3 years of tax transcripts - I decided to send in transcripts instead of copying the tax return I filed, hope its okay

Printed letter to confirm my employment - My company uses worknumber.com to verify this information, so its not on company letterhead, is that going to be a problem?

Salary history - just to show how much I am making now, as in the employment letter only shows year to date salary

Should I send in my resume??? I know its not a requirement but I read it somewhere that it might help, is that true?

Thanks and good luck to everyone who is waiting

I assume you make above 125% poverty and are doing the 864EZ as you did not mention checking/savings/investments? If so, then you are good to go and no resume is needed. But on the employment letter, does it have the company's name you work for and your info correct???

@christeen...that was a great catch, I didn't even knew about the I-864EZ form...I always thought I needed I-864 by just reading on this forum...anyways both forms are pretty much the same but EZ is less complicated and perfect for my situation. Thanks again :)

one more thing, even though I am not qualifying based on investments or savings, is it okay if I send along my savings account statement and 401K or other saving account statements?

Any idea how many days NVC enters the infos in their system after they received the package? Will they tell on phone if you were issued an RFE or you will have to wait for their mail? Thanks everyone!

Hi All!!!!!

I got my NVC #.

Now What? hehehehe... I am too excited. Actually. I am really excited because I also got a job interview at the Kennedy Center (that place in Washington, DC) and an NVC # on the same day :-D

Ok... so now what?

I emailed my wife the DS-3032 form, and she is in the process of signing it and returning it to me.

All is ok, except that in Bangladesh, they won't let you get your Police Clearance Certificate until you show them the ACTUAL paper mail that NVC sends to the beneficiary with the NVC #, which according to the AVR will take 6 - 8 weeks.

So......... I am still going to get her to mail me the DS-3032 via snail mail, so I can mail it to NVC once I get the AOS bill and pay it. My wife will also email them the Choice of Agent via email once I call NVC and register our email addresses with them (maybe in the next few days).

Anything else I should be thinking of?

Please help! The whole NVC process sounds more confusing than the i-130 process (although neither of them are THAT bad).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(those exclamation marks are a reflection of how happy I am about the NVC #).

Everyone else: Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that you have the NVC case#, call them and give them your (and beneficiary's) email address because that's the easiest and fastest way to reach you. Once they have your email, they will send you the generated AOS bill (and your IIN) and DS3032 form. It is up to you when you want to pay. When it is already paid and it shows PAID online, you can send in your AOS package and if no RFE, then you're done. For your case to complete, your wife should send her Choice of Agent form and (you) pay the IV bill when it's generated and when it shows PAID online, she can then send her IV package (birth and marriage certificates, police clearance, ds-230 form, 2x2 pictures, photocopy of passport, IV and her own coversheet, all in originals and photocopies of each documents)...then WAIT. :P
