Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Hello everyone,

I Just got an email from NVC (nvcinquiry@state.gov) today (10/06/2009). There are two emails; first one is DS-3032, second is DS-3032 & Affidavit of Support (AOS).

Now...I got DS-3032 again on the second email? Does anyone of you has this? I know you will say...just ignore the first one and throw it away. I'm just curious. I hope it just a mistake.

Anyway, I paid $70 for AOS fee online and emailed DS-3032 to nvinquiry@state.gov today. Should I mail out the DS-3032 hard copy too?

I got a delievery fail with this email today and just now noticed it so what email do i use, I did nvcinquiry@state.gov thanks in advance

Ok im a little slow, I just looked and I didn't put the "c" all good to go now. Wow the letters and numbers are running together.

:dance::dance: As I was sitting here moping and feeling like time was standing still, I got an email from the NVC!! Yay!! BUT, I only got the email copy of what they sent to my husband, the ds-3032. So I will get a second email with the INN or IIN number so I can pay??

yeah, you should get the email with the aos fee bill. that will have your invoice info. congrats :thumbs:

My hubby went ahead and sent out the email for the ds-3032 and as soon as he sent it he got an automated email response stating as of april 2008 they can only discuss certain info on emails and if this from a lawyer then they need to have a form on file?? Again this is normal?

I'm still waiting for the AOS, it'll probably show up during the night!!!
