I did not realize he was in the military. So are you waiting for them to grant his discharge? Hopefully that will go as smoothly as the interview!

He isn't in the military!!! He got out in 2001!!!! But they are responsible for being called back for 10 years. So he has to get a special travel form that will allow him to leave the country. I'm telling ya, it's because of having an immigrant visa, NOT a student or visitor visa! :angry:

He actually had to go in front of the board and pay out a penalty fee and they said they will give him his papers in 10 days. So he's suppose to go next week to get it!!!

Keep us in your prayers because we all ready have the reservations for the 16th of April!!!

I will be super P'd if I have to cancel that flight!!! :crying::crying:

Congrats! This thread has become pretty large indeed! To reduce server loads I will need to close this "large thread" however please feel free to start a "part 2, 3, 4..." of this thread from scratch! :)
