oh julie, was it because of what you had thought? or did they come up with another reason? if it is what you had thought, then you can get the waiver turned in

Yeah, it was. But they've asked for documents we'll never be able to get. We've already tried.

I have this sinking feeling I'm going to die a lonely old woman.

No, no, no don't think that Julie!!! There has got to be something that can be done!! What about the waiver and maybe a letter to document not being able to get the original document??? Something has to be done!!

i agree with and_sam. is there a way you can get a notarized letter from whoever they need the documents from and submit that to them? please don't despair. there is a solution somewhere.

We did submit the original letter from the court clerk. If that's not good enough, we're never going to get what they need, because it took a lot of kicking and screaming to get that.

Can you call them and ask them what they will accept to get past this?? This is so scary that they can just stop 2 people being together!!!! (I have a hard time taking no as an answer! )

wow julie im so sorry i know wat that feels i got that no on my k1 and thats why im also nervious ,but like i always sy there is always a reason to everything that happens in life

Well, and just to add to today's drama.... I have finally had a chance to talk to my husband and he said that the interview itself was really easy, relaxed, and nothing to get worked up about. The ONLY reason we were denied was because of the CIMT, and the CO felt bad having to deny him. But that's the law, and he had to do it. Despite our denial, all of you should take heart because the interview wasn't as bad as we thought it would be.

Now, let's get some cases complete!!!
