just called in today and operator gave me the interview date i cant believe thanks ALLAH it was so fast in four days i get case completed and interview date on jan 07 good luck to all

I also got the interview email today, its on Jan 28th...I was hoping for an early Jan but oh well, I will try to get an early date by calling the embassy...

Our case completed on November 30th. We received the e-mail today for his interview.

It has been scheduled for January 12th.

Just update, my wife interview was on 11/22/2009, visa issued on 11/24 arrived to the US on 11/29/2009. Thanks all for your support.

That is great So!!! Where was your inteview and how was it??? How did you get your visa so quickly?

Interview was in Cairo Egypt; my case was expedited at the NVC. I arrived in Cairo on 11/15 and was able to submit my DS-230, medical report and the original documents by hand on 11/17. The embassy called me on the 19th to let me know that my interview will be on 11/22. I was able to convince the consular not to send the visa through the DHL and to pick up the visa by myself. He approved it and two day later I got it.

Wow that is great! How was your interview? Any tips you can give my husband? He will be interview in Cairo too. I am hoping to beable to fly over and attend with him. Any info you want to share would be great! :thumbs:

Have you or her married before?

My wife completed her medical degree last July, he just asked her if she is going to become a doctor in the US, I was the one who answered it and said yes but she will need to study hard, he agreed. That all.

Hi all, just wanted to let you guys know that my wife got her visa today. We went yesterday for the interview yesterday and got the visa today. I want to thank everyone here who has shared their experiences and gave advise. Hope that all out there that have not gotten through get theirs soon and have a smooth process.
