Scot-I hope you and your mum have a very safe trip! Take care of Diane-btw, how are you feeling Diane? Done with the swine stuff????

BQ-I've not on here as much so I guess I've been a little quiet! My life is back to normal while waiting for the interview...working a lot and doing stuff around the house!!!!!! At least there's no stress anymore!!!!!! The interview is three weeks from today!!!!

Yay Finn!!! Look how quickly that is coming up too!! I am hoping to get the papers in the mail to the NVC on Friday so I can start worrying next week whether or not if they had gotten them! Then hopefully I will get a case complete and interview in January!!!:thumbs:

Next week back to the same old grind of checking the AVR and calling....looking for a sign in failed~

I know-and it's coming up way too fast! I'm trying to get so much done at work because I'm taking three weeks off! I bet I'll be stressed out by next week-ha!

Are you going to be with your husband for his interview? I am hoping to be in there for my husbands!!

Yes! I wouldn't miss it for the world! We're spending some time in Rome, then the interview is in Naples so three nights there, then two weeks in Finland over Xmas/New Years!!!

Aww how romantic!! When do you leave to go? I am kind of hoping for a later date in Jan or Feb for the interview..the more time I have to save up the money, the better it will be!!

Two weeks from this Friday! I can't wait to see him!!!!!!!

Yes, be glad you have a later date, if only because the airfare will be cheaper! Try buying a ticket to Europe a few weeks in advance in December! Let's just hope I never spend that much money on airfare again!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

You send the IV package without it, you do need the barcoded payment coversheet though.

{{{{Abbie!}}}} How are you girl?? Been missing you on the threads!! Glad you got the bill paid!!

You will need to include the cover sheet that becomes available when the IV bill shows paid. What I did, was include that and also made a cover letter with everything listed in the packet...Good luck girl!!!

I'm still waiting for my RFE to be cleared so I can get a case complete and Login failed!!!

As of 8PM Eastern US time, I got this:

Sign In Failed

Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.

I'm so happy! This is what we all wait for, right? I'm not overreacting? It was weird cause I checked at 6PM and I could still log-in and then at 8PM it happened.
