No it wont!!!! Follow thru with CR1 at NVC, like I said, no telling how long K3 will be in AP. You should get case number soon for CR1 same thing happend to me, K3 got there first, few days later, I got case # for CR1, dont worry, its all okay!!

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

What a bummer. I thought, ok I admit it, I was hoping I could sneak in at NVC by opting in for the electronic filing. Yeah no, I need to wait for NVC to contact me via email. BOOOOOOO

I need to hear of some more NOA2 notices being sent out!

Off to the gym to work off some of the stress.

yep yep. once it (ds3032) is generated from nvc, with the barcode, then you can use this template:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

it used to be the fastest method, but NVC has been bombarded with so many approvals lately, it could take time. so you never know if snail mail or email will be the fastest route. to be on the safe side, most people do both.

I got the NOA2 hardcopies in the mail for the I129 and I130.

Decided to call NVC, and when I tried to get case status for them, NVC told me they received the I129 on september 29th, assigned a case number to it and threw it in AP and they have no information on how long it will take to get off AP.. is this normal?

They havent received anything on the I130 yet. she suggested to call back next week..

I'm just hoping they don't throw the I130 in AP hell. I was planning on using the I129 if the I130 got AP'ed but i might have to actually use I130 to get my wife here.

Such a rediculous process.

For the K3 its normal to go into AP. Could take anywhere from couple days to weeks......

Sorry to hear about the AP but the CR1 should be there soon and there won't be AP for that....

AP is common for K visas. I was there at NVC for 37 days, while in AP, I completed my case on the CR1, both cases were completed at same day. FOLLOW THE CR1 , dont worry about the K3!!!

So they didn't put our K3 into AP if the woman I spoke with said that it was being sent out today to the embassy? How long does the embassies usally take to get in touch for an interview?

I am still wanting the CR1 visa....

Well.. no update for me. Operator I spoke to today is misinformed (seems to be the case with supervisor reviews). She's like, "allow 2-4 weeks". No, you idiot, it's 10-15 business days.
