Wow Diane, I hope you feel better soon. That flu is horrible!

I want to call my hubby too, but he's asleep and has to wake up in six hours. I can't disrupt his sleep...I talked to him two hours ago but I just really, really miss him...wah wah wah.

Who knows about the interviews-I don't know if I'll make Dec either!

Well even if it takes as long as the AVR says that is nother 6-8 weeks so it would still be before valentine's day barring any horrible complications.

What is the time difference between where you are and your hubby? We have a 5 hr time difference.

I know what you mean. We spoke on the phone for an hour a couple times this week,we chatted and we email and it is never enough cos what I really want is to hug him. :blush:

Okay-I'll call NVC a little later.

I had the DHL tracking down finally, saw that 58 packages went out today, then tried to get back in and now I can't make it work! I'm going crazy.

Yup, 1 package weighing 23lbs (23 cases at 1lb a piece?) was sent to Manila. Hope mine was in that batch!

i dont know how to track for that...DHL site always says :

Unable to track shipments at this time.

System Unable to Process Request. An unexpected error has occurred with shipment tracking. Please try to track your shipments at a later time.

Try it again later, Mae.

It's 4AM and my darn cats woke me up. So I thought that I might as well call NVC! Whew-the AVR finally said our case was complete on 11/12 (yesterday). Yay!

Diane-we have a 9 hour time difference. It's screwy! 10 next week when I'm in Alaska...

Phil-I think the DHL site might have been down last night because I had the same message. Try today, and if it doesn't work, I'll walk you thru it.

Okay back to bed I go!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

9-10 hrs? wow and I complain about it being 5hrs.

Good Morning and Happy Friday!!!

Well I tried the website again this morning and still can log in!!! Ok, it's been since 10/29 with a "checklist letter review" since 10/31....WTH????? I am going to call them today!!!! I am going crazy!!! :wacko::wacko::angry:

we have a 11.5 hour difference. but it is easy to figure out during daylight savings. i just add a half hour, and change am and pm.

BTW..love the new name!! :thumbs:
