Maybe I was too fast on getting the sign in failed :(...Now the AVR is saying that another checklist was sent on Nov 10th, the same day I failed login...I spoke to the OP and they are saying its still in final review and they cant say if anything is missing...so does that mean a false RFE as I still cant sign in? :(

You can't sign in? What did the OP say about that? Well apparently it's not broke..I can still sign in

Me too.

I just called the NVC and this time got a stupid chick. She claimed she didn't even know what a sign-on failure was. She still has my case showing in the "final review."

So...I still don't know for sure my case is complete I guess!

Oh, and the AVR is still showing a date of 11/2 for the checklist...

Don't you get an email once it is complete?

I never get any emails for NVC to notice that my case was completed...only the OP confirmed me on the phone.... I'm curious about that too...some get email and some don't...

Probably five years later like all the other NVC emails!

And Sam, check in about three hours...just in case you're our Thursday gal!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

I just checked the DHL website, and 58 packages went out from the NVC today. One was to Naples-could that be mine????? Have any of you sign-on failures checked it?

Hi Finn.

Try calling again later before they close or tomorrow. That was the answer I was getting from the operator last Monday. They are just reading it from the computer. I don't think they know about the sign-in fail off the NVC site. you should be getting a case complete later or tomorrow.

Regarding my above post about DHL, now I can't make it work. I'm kicking myself for not printing off the info on all 58 packages sent today. Can anyone else access it?

So...I still don't know for sure my case is complete I guess!

I told you to hang on to my coattails, kiddo! :star: My husband just buzzed me to say that the NVC operator confirmed to him that our case is complete. Another good news from the operator is that NVC will be assigning interview dates through the end of next week. I hope he (the operator) ain't lying!

The AVR is not current as it still says that they received our checklist response on Nov. 3 and that we have to wait for another 6 to 8 weeks for the next step. No, I haven't checked the DHL tracking yet. I don't know how!!

Good question-because it was a fluke it even worked. You go to dhl.com, track by reference, and put in:

12 NOV 2009A

and zip of 03801

It worked once, and now it won't. I know the above is correct because I wrote it down! It's very frustrating that it won't work now for me. I can't remember what I put for dates besides today's date.

Assuming something is just temporarily wonky with DHL's data, where did you get the data items to input??

I found 42 today and none to Italy. But don't take that as gospel cos I don't know what I'm doing!
