OMG! Sweetest Sign-In Fail ever! is this it?

I called NVC and the agent is not able to give me a confirmation if our case has been completed already but Im trusting my instinct and per experience of everyone that our case has been completed already. will try calling again tomorrow to get confirmation. im keeping my fingers, toes and everything else crossed.

Congrats! When did you get your sign-in fail? Just this morning?

Congrats Macy!!! When did you get login failed??? I still don't have it and they have had my checklist since 10/31!!!:wacko::wacko:

Welcome to my world And Sam! We've been left out of the party apparently.

ya know Finn, I keep thinking if they are waiting to give me a RFE then hurry up and do it!!! Just don't leave me hanging!!! I sent all that stuff in and they have said they received the checklist 10 days ago!!! Enough all ready!!!! :crying:

Yeah, I know! I keep wondering if/what we did wrong. They don't like the translation of his military record? What??? I hate this hanging part. It's putting me in a funk! I'm flying off on Sat to go to Alaska for work, so won't even be around for a week to fix a stupid RFE if I got one. Everyone who did their 230s around our dates already got a log-inf failure...that's why I think something's wrong. Well, I'm glad at least we're going thru this hell together...sorry, that's selfish of me !!!!

No more waiting around for me. On Friday I'm booking a trip to see my hubby if nothing happens between now and then! (I've only checked the website a couple of times today-too depressing!).

Come on Finn stop getting so stressed. I see you as one of the chilled out laid back people who are a rock for everyone else. Maybe it's the FBI training! You are almost there. It will happen soon. If they were gonna send you an rfe they would have done it by now. I bet by the time you get back from Alaska your case will be complete. By early next year at the latest your Finnman will have his visa and you will live happily ever after. Do you realise how lucky you are to have trips to Alaska paid by your employer? Me and Diane would kill for that! Does the FBI have any vacancies for tall good looking sexy scottish drunks?

Scot, you are so funny! I'm not a feeb!!!!!!

Yes, I'm one of my rare moments of getting in a funk over this. I'm up to my eyeballs in work too, so that's a bit stressful. Maybe it's just the combination of it all!!! I'll be better tomorrow, when I have a day off!!!!

I'm just letting my mind wander too much over this...like what did I do wrong with the 230???? I know-it's silly.

And yes, I'm very grateful to be able to go to Alaska. I love it up there! I've been covering Alaska for about six years now. Last year (fiscal year) I think I only went once, but this year this is my 2nd trip in two months!!!! I've done a lot of fun stuff up there too. I'm flying up this weekend and going horseback riding at my friend's house late Saturday in the snow!!!!! Then it's back to work Sunday morning though...blech. Actually, it'll be very exciting!!!! Plus it's snowing-yay!

Okay back to work now...

If you see santa claus up there tell him I've been a very good boy and I deserve a really good present for christmas. An interview date would do!

I woke up to go to work and called the NVC on my way. The AVR says that I have missing or incomplete info. I'm like what?!?! I called NVC when I got off to talk to an operator. She was very nice and said all she could see was that the IV bill hasdn't gone through. I was relieved. At around 4:42PM the bill showed PAID and I printed the cover sheet and put it with the DS-230 packet which was already done. I left quickly and got to the post office right before closing time in time to send the package. So NVC will have everything by the end of the week. :)

is nvc closed tomorrow?

I would assume so-it's a Federal holiday.

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

I was tossing and turning around and without a good sleep last night. So, I got up at 4:30AM (Philippine Time), went to my computer but my login to the NVC site failed with this message:

“Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.”

Will I be sad or will I be happy with this login failure? :crying::star:

You'll be happy! If not, And Sam and I will gladly take your place!

I reckon I should be very happy. FinnLove, you and And_Sam are next in line!

I sure hope so!! I see that I sent my ds-230 2 days after you!!! Maybe I am getting depressed for nothing!!
