Happy Monday everyone!!!!!

I just got into work and after checking my work e-mail, I checked my yahoo email and guess what was there?????

Dear Sir/Madam:

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

I keep telling myself not to check the website but keep doing it every hour. It's a bad obsession! Nothing for me of course...if I don't get a log-in fail by Friday, I'm not waiting anymore to book a trip to Finland for Xmas with my hubby. I'm going crazy not seeing him...and I know you all relate!

I'm been so peppy until today-I'm really sick of seeing my info on the website!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

I was looking at flights for christmas and wanted to book something - despite the fact I have no money and my evil (American) employer changed my shift pattern and totally screwed me up for holidays and is almost bankrupting me - cos Diane has been so down about us being apart at christmas and I'm not exactly thrilled about it either. I thought "what the hell. I'll just do it and add a bit to the mountain of debt" but then there is always the very slim possibility that I could have an interview in december and as I can only afford the cheapest of the cheap flights i don't have the option to cancel and get a refund so it would be money down the drain so the sensible part of me took over and decided to wait a couple of weeks and see what the NVC do. Hopefully by that time there will still be flights and they won't be at a price that will melt my already smoking credit card! Life is a rollercoaster and right now it's making me wanna throw up!

But looking on the bright side. Every time I post you lucky people get to look at my really cool flag!

Does NVC schedule them this week for all Interviews or is it by country?

i think this is for all countries

yeah its for all... NVC usually scheduled interview every 2nd week of the month...

Mumbai, India interviews for December were scheduled last week of Oct. They already posted the schedule on their website last week for all December interviews. So it depends on country...

Thanks/ I suppose we will have to wait and see how London does it!

Checking the NVC site is the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do before sleeping. In between the day, I always check the site. UGH! NVC give us all some love! Im still hoping to get a December interview but honestly, everyday that passes and us not getting a case complete makes that chance very slim.

I know the feeling! I was planning on a December interview and wanted one so badly! I can't even get a sign-on fail...

And Sam, a good movie sounds great! I'm still at work, and I didn't even get to the gym today.
