yeah i talked to sup on the 30th and i call every dam day and let them know but their answer is well we have 15 to 20 bus days

i think mine took about 4 days after i called the supervisor. have you sent in your ds230? sometimes that will trigger it too. i had already sent mine in too. so i don't know if the supervisor did it, or the 230 package.

question guys for those who paid before emails do u guys still show unpaid or what ,cuz mine wont change

Call NVC and have them fix it. If you get lucky and talk to my nice lady, you're good to go! However, she probably got fired for smiling once.

Seriously, yours should have changed by now. Mine went from paid to not paid, but I called NVC and they fixed it that same day. I've been Paid since!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

NOBODY can tell you that! Perhaps with a crystal ball and some burning sage... However, based on many cases here, the average is 10 - 14 days after 230 is accepted for a case complete.... That is without any RFE or addtl name checks... Good luck

Good afternoon fellow NVCers, (It's afternoon here!)

Another day of NVC excitement ahead of us. I'm sure the good people that work so hard at the NVC are determined to get lots of extra work done before the weekend so that more of us can be reunited with our loved ones. They will set love free or die! When I am an American tax payer I will campaign to try and get them a large pay rise for all the excellent work they do. To all those lovely government employees in New Hampshire. I salute you! :wow:

That should get me at the front of the queue!

You're saluting only THOSE gov't workers? Hmmpppphhhh...

He didnt say how mny fingers he was using...could be the ol single finger salute...I'm just saying....

I actually dont have a problem with the actual people only that you can never seem to reach one!

OMG!

Is that the same for all consulates or just Manilla?

It is supposed to be a 10-12 week wait for an interview in London. Does anyone know if that means I'll get a date straight away but it will be scheduled 10-12 weeks away or will I have to wait 10-12 weeks to find out when it is?

There is hardly anyone going through London doing the CR1 so it's not easy to get an idea of recent timelines. Almost everyone is doing the K1 visa. I don't understand why. We looked at all the options and the CR1 was by far the best option. In the long run it is much quicker, less expensive and is easier. Maybe they are unsure about each other and want to live together for a couple of months before getting married!
