I checked the AVR to see what was up with my case....and it said that they are missing documents or something was not complete on my finical evidence, a but like a week and half ago it said the same thing and i already received the checklist and mailed everything they need....now it is saying they same thing??? why

yes now it says the 25

No. Since it's the same message but with an updated date, I don't believe it's a false RFE. False RFE's happen when the AOS package has been reviewed but the CO hasn't received the DS230 package.

You never know with NVC. I had an RFE and then I sent what they wanted the next day and 3 days later we were approved and I know it doesn't just take them 3 days to review an RFE so... I would call

False RFEs are common at this stage. We got one after our DS-230 had been received there saying that they needed the DS-230. It's actually a good sign, I think. It means they are processing your case. Call on Momday and see what's up. Hopefully, it will be good news.

they wanted to see how the co-sponsor was related to me on the i-864A for my sister...so i called before I received the RFE checklist and the operator told me to send my birth certificate for me and my sister and i did before i got the checklist....and now the AVR is saying there is something wrong with my finical evidence AGAIN!!!!

Can things come up wrong all at once or do they tell you one after the other and have you send in the RFE?

so it was a real RFE and they dont like translated copies of birth certificates....all taken care of tho...
