HI! I am an American Citizen born and raised here in the Philippines. My dad is Caucasian (american) and mom is Filipino.

I am filing I-130 for my husband. DO I send it to the U.S. or to MANILA? HELP!! :)

If you were born in the Philippines and raised there too, How did you become a US citizen? Are you registered in the US or in the Philippines? Do you have a US Passport?

There is this filing that they call DCF or Direct Consular Filing, but there is a certain rules about this one. Try to contact the US Embassy Manila.

It will depend on whether or not you and your husband have lived together for at least 6 months in the Phils. If so you can do a direct consular filing (DCF), which can save you some time. If not, you'll file your petition with US Citizenship and Immigration Services in America.

In either case, you can find more detailed information in the guides on this website. See the link below.

I have lived in the Philippines almost all my life. They better recognize my eligibility! LOL

I have lived in the Philippines almost all my life.

If that's the case you'll have to work pretty hard to prove that you intend to establish domicile in the U.S.- like getting a job offer, buying a house, etc...

N-400 package delivered: 04/16/2013

Biometrics: 08/23/2013

Interview: 10/07/2013
