Is the Bayview Park Hotel the hotel directly across the street from the US Embassy in Manila? Any other suggestions on where my fiance Janet should stay? Any good or bad comments about the Bayview Park Hotel? Thanks for any help in regards to setting a reservation for a hotel stay for the interview.

Yep RIGHT across Roxas. It's OK. My wife, daughter and sister stayed there. They stayed at The Lotus Garden for the medical and was cheaper and liked it better. They wished they'd stayed there instead of the Bayview. It's only for 1 night for interview. It will work.

Yeah,Janet stayed at the Lotus Garden two times, cause she had to return again for the medical exam issues. I was just looking at the convenience issue. Just looking for some suggestions. Is the Bayview a dump?

Have you stayed there or do you have money invested in the hotel as Pepe must!

I've been there and it's not much!

thanks all for the replies! I made reservations through hoteltravel.com and we will see if they get back with me with confirmation now. Janet will only be staying there on night, so I hope it isn't too bad! Check out the coupon i used just now on Xoom. SUPERSAVER and it worked as of September 26th!

I stayed there for my interview since the USEM is just accross the street. My only problem with them is it's very expensive for a 12-hr stay (got there at 4pm and got out at 4am the next day for the interview). Breakfast was supposedly included but they never gave me any ticket for it. It was embarrasing because I got my sister with me and I told her to eat breakfast since we paid for it. She lined up and when it was her turn, she was asked for the ticket that we never had. They made it look like it was our fault that we didn't ask for it when we checked in. To me, you shouldn't ask for those things, it's supposed to be their job to make sure that everythings given to the guests.

Bayview Park, at $60 a night, offers very nice accomodations at a very low rate. With a wholesome free hot breakfast, awesome location, and a nice panorama of the bay if you are on one of the upper floors on the west side of the building, not too many can beat it!
