Reschedule of biometric appointment

Dear All,

I am a greencard holder. I applied an reentry permit at April 2009 and leave the US at May 2009, before I get appointment for biometrics. Now I stay oversea and plan to come back the US at this Oct 2009.

Some questions need your helps and advises:

1. Can I permitted to enter the US without any difficulties from the customs?

2. Can my friend at the US book the new appointment for biometrics for me, so I could do biometrics within 2 weeks after arrival?

3. If my previous application for reentry permit is denied, can I re apply for new travel documents?

As a new immigrant, I am too confused and worry about my ongoing trip. Any advise would be grateful from my heart.
