Checks cashed for I-130 but no NOA?

I'm not sure if this is common or not but did anyone's check (filing fee for I-130) got cashed before receiving NOA?

I checked my bank today and it shows that the checks for my parents' I-130 application had been cashed but I haven't received NOA. I also saw a case number starting with WAC at the back of the cashed check but the USCIS website says there's no available update for that case number.

Any thoughts?

09/17/09 : Mailed I-130 (through USPS Express Mail)

09/29/09 : Received NOA1 (dated 9/24)

01/21/10 : Received NOA2 (Petition Approved!)

NVC

02/04/10 : Received DS-3032 Packet in the e-mail

02/04/10 : Paid $70 AOS Fee and e-mailed DS-3032

02/06/10 : Mailed DS-3032 (through USPS Priority Mail)

02/11/10 : Mailed I-864 (through USPS Priority Mail)

02/16/10 : IV Bill Status Paid

02/25/10 : Mailed DS-230 Packet (through USPS Priority Mail)

03/01/10 : NVC received DS-230 Packet

03/12/10 : CASE COMPLETED

03/25/10 : Interview letter received (May 6, 2010)

04/27/10 : Medical - need to do Sputum Test (2 month delay)

07/13/10 : Interview

08/01/10 : Visa Delivered

That is very normal. of course they will make sure that u pay the application first before they will send u the NOA. SOmetimes the system is not updated right away. My I-751 was filed in July of this year, i got my NOA1 and did my biometrics but my case status online did not change at all till this date.Your NOA is on it's way now am sure.

Yeah, I felt the same way too. I was a bit worried because the check was cashed but no NOA. I finally received it 9/25/09. We do have the same timeline!

Yup, we have the same timeline! However, yours seemed to be processed a few days ahead of mine. Hopefully the approval won't take too long for the both of us! =)
