Hi Guys. Congrats Karen on the approval. My husband got his work card in mail on Sat, but the middle initial in his name is wrong!!! UHHHHH. How long do you think this will take to correct? What a pain.

Also - why is the EAD only valid for a year?

its been 41 days since NOA...Still waiting for EAD approval..I was hoping it would be this monday, but nothing.. oh well, hope ill get it this week.

Hi Monica, hang in there, i had my bio 5 days after yours and Im already antsy, I can understand how you feel, hope youll hear from USCIS this week.

I received my interview letter today for 01/11/10...Hopefully I can hear something about my EAD this week..

I'm waiting on EAD/AP too. Case was transferred to CSC and hoping it wouldn't bounce back though I'll be patient and keep the good faith.

So, we had to send my husband's EAD card back. I know it's hard to believe, but USCIS was confused on if we should send it back to Chicago or Missouri.?? I finally got two officers at the 2nd level of customer service to say send it to Missouri. So, we'll see!!! What a royal pain!

awww this is sweet! =)

Oh well I went to apply for a SSN today.. Just got home! I'm soooo pissed off.. We went to their Pomona Office and guess what?! They already transferred to a new building I guess.. But they didn't update their web page for the change of address.. they gave us the old address.. ARGH! So we called their toll number and asked for another office location.. good thing there's an office nearby which is in Ontario.. tsk tsk..

I was at the library and got the text- rushed home. OH MY GOD!!!!! The funny part is that yesterday I was looking through the spreadsheet (thanks Greg) and realized that even though we hadnt got EAD or AP approval- nobody who got their GC had approval dates before ours so I felt a little less despondent. SO YEAH!!!! So yes a christmas present but even more so a Birthday present for me!!!! My birthday is Friday and my husbands is in January and I was hoping he would get his GC in time so that I could make plans to take him to Toronto for his brthday- NOW I CAN!!!! THANKS EVERYONE- LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!
