AOS Filers October 2009

I'm stalking August and September filers and it looks like a lot of them got transfer to CSC letters one or two weeksish after they got the biometrics letters. Ooooooooooh I want to be them. Haha

We just got our biometrics and now I want approval. I have so little patience it's ridiculous, but it feels like getting transferred there is like winning the lottery or something.

ahahaha.. seems everyone is ANXIOUS! whew! its been a week now, I still haven't receive my NOA's. I sent my package last Oct 5 and they received Oct 7.. lalalalala... :whistle:

Xaenyth, I am late in this game - when it gets transfered to CSC, what does it mean? no interview is it?? ... I checked my mail... no biometrics letter as yet

You're right simbafuzz... It's part of the game! isn't it exciting? checking your mailbox/email everyday? and all you get are coupons from Ralphs, Albertsons, etc? LOL! :wow:

Hey there fellow Oct. filers!

So, I checked status online today and my cases were there! Hooray! They weren't yesterday. It says I am at the initial review stage for all three applications. I signed up for e-mail notification of course - blackberry now glued to my hand (as if it weren't before).

About xfer to CSC - i know it means you dont have to interview but does it also means the entire process is shorter or does your paperwork still get caught up in the 6 month process? Anyone know? Xaenyth,you said you stalked the other forums - did the CSC cases get their approval sooner?

Just wishful thinking, I shouldn't tease myself like this. Just accept it will take 6 months and I am going to have to interview.

Simbafuzz, I think it means you don't have to have the interview. How sweet would that be? Did you get your biometrics letter today? I was really excited when I found out ours is going to be in a city like 30 mins from here. I was afraid we would have to drive to Philly or something.

TchauEUA, It looks like 2-3 months total process when sent to CSC, *but* I saw somewhere that CSC might be slowing down a bit now (Same thing that happened to VSC when I sent off my K1. I think I'm cursed. ) But I think the wait is longer to find out what is actually going on. Those that got their interviews got their dates fairly quickly so it's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other I guess.

My numbers still don't work this morning so I'll continue to be jealous and mailbox obsessed, thankyouverymuch

TchauEUA - your noa was Oct 4 right? So like 10 days til your numbers worked on the uscis junk...er I mean web site? Yay, I have new hope! That means maybe ours will work tmrw.

Ok Guys i ###### up big time .....

I sent my AOS and DS-3032 last week . Everything looked good . Went ahead and paid the 400 $ . For couple of days it kept on showing in process and suddenly yesterday it said not paid . To my horror , when i tried again , it kept saying that there is already a payment for this case .

So ! i called NVC and spoke to this lady and told her my predicament . She said " sir , you were not suppose to pay the money till we send you the reciept . Now this will delay your case . I will speak to the supervisor and see what they can do . Please call back after 15 days " ..... I was shocked , and it was my mistake. Should have read the papers properly . Actually it does say , dont pay any bills till we tell you to . Now i screwed myself up big time . I was hoping that i would be able to send the DS-230 quick, but now i guess i just have to wait .

Anyone has had this situation ? What are my options apart from waiting 15 days ?

We just decided we will try to do a walk-in for our biometrics on Tuesday since I'm off that day. We'll see what happens.

Ok, I just tried our numbers again and they still don't work. Does your start with MSC? Maybe I'm putting it in wrong?

Xaenyth, I am thinking the same... my case starts with MSC as well. No luck as yet... MFluer, what about yours?? Well, my Biometrics should be on the way as we pretty much are in hand in hand I just wish I could see what is happening online just so I don't miss the bio-metrics!!

Hi Simbafuzz and Xaenyth, I entered the case number which starts with MSC, no dashes... all I did was go to the USCIS website... and then on the left side there's an option "After I file" and under that, "Check case status" and that's where I got the page to enter the letters and numbers...... so weird it's not working for u guys.... :/ Try again and good luck!

I'm thinking my biometrics letter will arrive either Monday or Tuesday of next week....

Hello all!

I'm joining this group: I finally sent my AOS, EAD, AP package today! I've been in the States (originally from Canada) since mid-August, so I feel EXTREMELY relieved!! Anyone else has filed almost 2months or more after entering the States? I hope it won't affect anything...

So here's to waiting once again for stuff to move with USCIS!

Welcome to the group.

We were just over the 2 months after POE by the time they received our package. From what I've read, nothing to worry about. Doesn't slow anything down.
