Hi ,

I was able to get my RFE remailed since I never received it. Apparently I forgot to send a copy of our marriage certificate hmmm... I made like ten so I'm not sure how that happened. I will mail it out soon as i can. My question is my biometrics is thursday. Is the RFE have anything to do with the EAD will it slow down my EAD just wondering.

FYI everybody, last night I got another email from USCIS about my EAD. So far I've received two Card Production Ordered emails: One on the 10th, and one on the 16th, with several touches in-between. Well, last night they dialed the circle back from Document Production to Post-Decision Activity, and sent me an email saying that on November 17th they mailed me an approval notice

So I'm guessing sequence goes something like this:

1st Card Production Ordered: Card Production was actually ordered.

2nd Card Production Ordered: They received the card from the card production place.

Approval Notice Sent: They actually mail you the card.

Just letting you guys know, because I know I'm among the first of us in the October filers, and y'all might get weirdness like this happening with yours in the next few weeks. Don't panic. It's all just USCIS

So, this approval notice is actually the card??!! yay.. I hope so!! Mine too exactly happened the way you say, so fingers crossed.

My thoughts and prayers with km24, sorry about all this stuff!! ahhh.... sucks when you are so stressed, i totally understand, all other guys.. stay in there!! what a ride this is, but so much better than the K1 at atleast

My NOAs are dated 10/26. I'm getting a little concerned - the last touch I can see online was 10/29 - and no biometrics yet?

From what I've read I'm still OK, but just getting a little anxious. Should I consider calling yet? Or give it some time?

I am waiting as well. I am planning to call USCIS customer center next week for a service request after 30 days are up from the date of NOA1.

Then you should call the USCIS after the 26th! I'm still waiting for my biometrics too.. I called yesterday and told me to wait for 1 month.. :whistle:

Abhijith.. sooo stressful waiting for the biometrics.. you really have to call the USCIS for service inquiry after the 23rd of Nov.. Good Luck! Keep me posted..

I don't have all of my paperwork with me at work, but I'm honestly not sure if I sent an I693? I had a medical exam here (in the US) at USCIS doctor if that means anything to you??? I'll have to go through my files and files of paperwork at home tonight to confirm that for you. Thanks again for adding me Greg.

"In order to process your application further. the petitioner/sponsor on form I-864, Affidavit of Support must submit all Federal income tax documentation submitted to the Internal Revenue Service(IRS) for the most recent tax year: 1040, 2008."

My question is I need to send just a copy of tax return or it need to be original? my husband is American if it help...

Since you had the medical here from a USCIS doctor (civil surgeon) you probably received the I693 in a sealed envelope.

This forum is great and we have a very active and supportive October group.

Hi leobull73, welcome!

No, you don't send in the originals. Just a copy of the tax return (form 1040 and all other forms submitted with it) plus copies of W2 and any 1099s. As an alternative, you can get a tax transcript from the IRS (either by FAX, mail or at an IRS office).
