thanks guys, congrats to all those who are making progress of some sense :jest:

yup, received my AP papers dated 11/9as well.

Question - why are there 2 sheets of paper saying the same thing?? both say they are valid till 11/8/2010 - does it mean it is valid for 2 re-entry, & the immigration officer takes away one each time?? I am as perplexed as ever. Any shed of light will be helpful!!

On an unrelated note, still no touches on my 485 since Oct 23, the day after my bio. But looking at how the EAD and AP went, it'll probably stay untouched until the day it's approved, just to worry me

I know.... damn... :crying:

It seems to take forever for the bio appt letter to be delivered. My hubby's was dated Oct 28th but we didn't receive it until Nov 9th, so it's possible yours is on the way.

Thanks, I try my best to be looked great... :dancing::D

Yes, I felt like I was processing my own application while I was preparing all these documents. Therefore, I thought at least I should expedite my case...

Keep my fingers cross. I hope there won't be any more "surprise" which caught me unguarded.

thanks guys, congrats to all those who are making progress of some sense :jest:

yup, received my AP papers dated 11/9as well.

Question - why are there 2 sheets of paper saying the same thing?? both say they are valid till 11/8/2010 - does it mean it is valid for 2 re-entry, & the immigration officer takes away one each time?? I am as perplexed as ever. Any shed of light will be helpful!!

I now have my AP papers in hand. They are dated 11/10.

I am no longer being held prisoner by the US Government :rofl:

My understanding of the two pieces of paper is that, the first time you use it, they take one, and stamp the other and/or your passport. On subsequent uses, they just look at your copy and you continue to keep it. It (mine at least) says it is valid for any number of entries up to the expiration on date, which on mine is one year.

Wish me luck the EAD shows up in the next couple of days!
