We tried walk-in on Friday Nov the 6th, and they allowed me. So I done with my BIO. One step forward.

Hello Everyone! I wanted to share an interesting experience about my biometrics appointment. I just received the appointment 2 days ago (Friday) morning. Since my husband got home early, i asked if he can drive me over and to try our luck, and so we did.

When i got there, there security guard was a bit rude and immediately assumed im applying for a I-751, but i was being so charming and sweet and pretty much begging in a really really nice way but shes determined to shoo me away, but 1 of the biomet officers heard me and went up to the guard beside me and asked: "Alrite, i heard her begging, what is she beggin about?" And i informed her that i was there for my Biomet appointment for I-485 and I-765 not I-751 and she said, normally they wont do this, but she'll let me slide :)

I still cannot believe i was able to walk in the same day i got my Appointment Letter :D Thank you Lord!

*Btw, the place was deserted, i cannot believe why people have to beg them, if they're not really doing anything and no one to assist?!

That's great! I'm glad you got in :star: I wonder what will happen if we try to do a walk-in to the Philly office. I guess we'll see when the appt date is.

Yeah at least getting touches means they haven't forgotten you!! It would be awesome though if they scanned the document and let you know what they did. Like "Touched: 11/8/09; don't get excited, we just looked at it" or "Touched 11/8/09; look out for a bio letter!"

Hahaha.. You're right rebecca! They have to mention what they did with our applications.. Like right now, they've touched the applications last Oct 26.. and yet I still didn't receive my BIO.. so I have 1 more week to wait.. and if still there's no sign for the bio letter then it's time for me to call them and do the follow up!

Yeah!! If I counted right there are 6 of us scheduled for bios this week. Maybe some scheduled for next week will do walk ins this week.
