and today is 10/08/09 So I just received the NOA for I-485 I-765 and I-131

I-751 ROC Timeline...

01/10/2012 - I-751 Packet sent out via USPS Express Mail (Signature Required)

01/11/2012 - I-751 Packet delivered at 10:45AM in Laguna Niguel, CA 92607 to INS Express Mail. Signed by. M. Guerrero

01/13/2012 - Check Cashed (2 days after)

01/17/2012 - I-797 NOA1 hard copy received --- (1 year extension)

03/07/2012 - Biometrics Done!

Sent my packet on 09/28/2009, they received on 09/29/09

and today is 10/08/09 So I just received the NOA for I-485 I-765 and I-131

YAY for you Selma! :) update your timeline.. just edit your "signature".. and put the dates when did you file your application.. etc!

The biometrics i guess. :) I'm sure there will be instructions on what to do next.

Haha that's sooo true. I think I've actually been checking VJ every hour...and that's certainly not healthy so I think I'm gonna switch to every two hours :-D

update: So I mailed my AOS packet Oct.1 and it was received Oct. 3....now I just need that NOA!! So glad we finally got this thing taken care of. Its been a long hard road but we are here.

k1 was long long ago and yes, I know you are supposed to file AOS ASAP but things happen...

AOS one year and four months after marriage...

08/10/2009 NOA date

22/10/2009 biometrics letter arrives

04/11/2009 biometrics appointment completed

19/11/2009 AP approval e-mail

Yep, I've been checking VJ (and my bank account and my mailbox) a little too much ever since I filed. Getting a little obsessive about it :rofl: So this weekend, I will chill out and be offline!! And I'm sure I will start back up on Monday ;) Everyone, have a great weekend!!

10/14/09 Check for I-485 cashed (Day 10)

10/16/09 Check for I-130 cashed & received all 4 NOA's!!!! (NOA Date was 10/13/09) (Day 12)

10/27/09 Received Biometrics appt letter (Letter Date was 10/19/09) (Day 23)

10/28/09 Attempt to walk-in bio failed at Wheaton, MD Support Center.... (Day 24)

11/06/09 9AM Biometrics Done

12/03/09 Received interview letter (Scheduled on 01/06/10 in Baltimore) (Day 59)

12/08/09 Received E-mails: EAD production order and AP approval (Day 64)

12/14/09 Received AP (2 copies) in mail!

12/16/09 Received EAD!!!!!

01/06/10 Interview done!!! - 20 minutes of waiting and 15 minutes of interview

01/21/10 Got Green Card in a mail!!!!!!!

01/26/10 Got Welcome letter saying my green card is approved (got it after I got my GC:) )

Welcome to VJ.

Once you get your NOA, you can check your case status online at USCIS. You need the receipt number from your NOA. You can also sign up for email updates.

Here's the link: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

Like KM24 said, the next step after receiving the NOA will be biometrics.

Yay!!! Just got delivery information from US Postal...and I guess my packet was "received" by a certain Andre Smith.

Hope this guy -and any other Immigration Officer for that matter- realizes that blood and tears were involved in this process...and many many lives basically depend on his assessment.

On a lighter note...Monday is Columbus Day!!! :jest:
