Hi gennyangel, good to see you here. Nice to have a fellow Hawaiian join the group. I'll add you to our spreadsheet (see link below). One question, did you send the I-693 along with your package? Let us know know your progress.

We have our bio appt in Honolulu on 11/12. Hopefully you can get your NOA and bio appt quicker that we did.

Is there any way if I call the 1800 number that I can get my case number? I still have not received my NOA's I realized that the address on the application was the one to the apartment but we don't use that one anymore we have a PO box. We did do a change of address at the post office and they said we should get all the mail that is sent to the apartment to our PO Box. However he also said that it might take up to two weeks for the mail to show up at the PO Box... I'm worried that I will get my biometrics letter late. When I called yesterday the USCIS person said it hadn't been sent , but by looking at some of the posts I am noticing that they may not always be correct. I don't know how else to find out if a biometrics appointment has been scheduled . I am so sad :(. I should have put the PO Box on the applications!

I think even if some of your mails goes to your old apartment address, I'm sure it will be mailed back and hopefully will be put to your P.O box. Just hang in there cause I know some of us are worrying about getting our NOA's & Biometrics letter. Wait for tomorrows mail.. Keep us updated!

I still check the mail at the apartment since i have the key but we haven't been receiving any mail there... I hope I do get it soon the only worry I have is getting my biometrics letter late and missing it... I will keep you updated thanks for the support I really needed it.

Welcome to everyone who just sent out their AOS package!!! As an update to my case I got my Biometrics done today since the Application Support Center I went to wasn't that busy and the security guy up front was kind enough to let my wife and I walk-in without an appointment!!!

Goodluck to you all :-)

Congratz Maxy! . BTW,what ASC did you go to?

Thanks SnS. I went to the one in Sugarland. The ppl there are really understanding.

Nick went for his biometrics today! He was originally scheduled for November 6th, but decided to try and walk-in. There were no problems and we're so happy to have one more step of the process complete!!!

When i went to check the statues online i had a touch today, am not sure what it is? Does anybody knows if they send you the biometric apponitment if there is any touch or not?

Anisa, we got the biometrics appointment without any touches. In fact, we called the 800 number last week and they said the biometrics appointment had not been set. In fact, when we got the letter (yesterday) it was dated several days before the call. I think a touch is good, but no touch doesn't mean anything. Their online system is pretty unreliable.

Thank you, lets just hope for the best.

If I sent my AOS on October 14th...how long until I hear something...anything...? I have no tracking number for the package I sent. I sent it registered mail thinking all this stuff would be included but no, nothing. I think my postman is getting weirded out coz I'm there in a flash, poking my head round the door.

The thing about this whole process is, I'm relaxed and normal until I have to post stuff and then all sanity goes. I know you feel it too VJ'ers!

Hello all,

I already posted on the September board, but since I filed at the end of September, I am technically an October filer so I decided to post here again.

We just sent my AOS package (I-130 , I-485 w/ the works, I-765, I-131) on 9/29 and it was delivered yesterday.

Obviously, no NOA yet. Let the waiting commence wacko.gif

I have checked my bank account about 7000 times since I woke up. I know they probably won't cash the check until at least Monday, but checking my account makes me feel like I'm somehow speeding up the process.

Who would have thought that I'd be so anxious to have my money taken ?

RFE? what they want from you?

hi guys, biometrics done yesterday for me and one of my little boys, and today for the other one, everything is so easy, just ask for the appointment letter, and for a official ID (passport is super ok) and fill one sheet whit personal things like eyes color, hair color, alien number, number of case (uscis). but for those girls who has change her maiden name for married name in the AOS packet, is very important to bring the original certificate of marriage not a copy , becouse in the passports appears our maiden name. so we have a lot of touch in the uscis website. so thats all for today.

Call USCIS and ask them if they received your case. I did the same thing. I guess paying for register mail is waist of money with USPS.
