Specifically, please let me know:

- What is the Visa type you are adjusting from

- Did you filed the I-693 with your AOS package

- Is the NOA date correct (same date on your NOA notice)

Anyway, today my husband called that 800 number to ask about biometrics, they said we need to wait 30 days after filing AOS for an appointment notice to come in the mail. She said to call back if we do not get it after 30 days to see what's going on.

Nikki, that's pretty much what they told me when I called last week. I would think you should get your appointment soon since Dallas is a large office.

I finished by Biometrics appointment, I was kind of nervous, don't know why. Just too many things on my mind. But it was really simple and straightforward. I went to the place, about 20 mins from home. I got in early at 10:40ish am, though my appointment time was at noon. They did the security check, no electronics etc.. all is mentioned on the NOA letter, so no problem! I don't know how people are taken in without appointment, though some of them here have been lucky! My security guards checked my letter like 10 times before they let me in I was then asked to wait in a room, but at around 11, they asked me to go ahead and fill in a form on which I had to enter all the details, name etc, A#, File Receipt number - I wrote both i485 and i765 as mentioned on the NOA.. don't forget to write both in case it applies to you! That's it, the finger prints were captured and I was sent out after the NOA was stamped with today's date and their code for location.

*October 26, 2009- Received Biometrics Notice of Appointment (scheduled for 11/10 @ 2pm)

Thank You!! The website thing is so frustrating- I mean how much does it really take to have a system set up that would automatically scan records and leave "touches" or prints on your file when it is being reviewed!?!

Hopefully its in your mail tomorrow. My NOA's was dated on Oct 21 and i just got it today. Since yours was mailed on the 20th of this month, I hope you get it tomorrow.. Just hang in there.

1. We are adjusting from k1

2. We did not send the I-693... we sent the vaccination supplement received at Nick's medical in the UK

3. Yes... the NOA date is correct....

update for spreadsheet -- I filed I693 with application - it had been well over a year since the last exam. I loooove the spreadsheet btw.

I am also an October filer (: I post on the AOS from work/student/tourist visas as well since my husband is on a J1. But I found you guys so I thought I'd say hello! I hope everyone's case goes smoothly and quickly
