Hi,

My interview was on 18th, he first asked about how we mat? Then he went through each questions of the main form to confirm the filling as standard procedure. Then he asked for general proof of relation. I presented him few photos, a joint car insurance, few joint bank account statements and latest apartment lease document. Though they asked for birth certificate of both of us; he didn't bother to look into it. I'd already submitted mine on a RFE. Overall it sounded easy.

Now, he didn't gave me anything and just took some copies of my documents and my I-94 from passport and told me that I still have to review your file before approving. I was under impression that they approve the case right away on same date (may be in front of us...)

Is it usual that they don't say anything like approved or not-approved in the end of interview? I mean it is still making me restless....

Thanks you :)

Hi Levi,

They told my wife the same thing and the same to our friends. But we were approved 6 hours later the same day - I got an SMS and our friends were approved the next day. But both of us couples were told in the interview that approval might not come for 90 days. So hang in there. If they didn't have a reason to reject - and you didn't indicate that there were any problems - you should get approved very quickly now.

Congratulations maxy925. You may be the last one who posts to let us know. I updated the spreadsheet and there are a few that probably have received their GC but are still out celebrating and have not posted the good news. Enjoy your 18 month break from USCIS.

I wish I was one of them, but no. I'm still waiting...and waiting....and waitiiiiiiing...

I've been so silent because going back to work after 18months, caring for 2 toddlers, and not having support AT ALL has been very overwhelming to say the least. I'm not sure how long I'll end up staying in the US if you know what I mean, but I'm doing my best....

For all of you who couldn't be happier, I'm so very happy for you! :D(L)

For those of you who have it hard like me....hang in there and what does not kill you will make you stronger!!!! :star::star:

They just passed 6 months. That's the magic number at which even USCIS will admit that something is wrong. You should make an InfoPass appointment and start bugging them about it. The Immigration Liaison at your local Congresscritter's or Senator's office can also nudge the system effectively too.
