Greg and all who have been through this... please comment on whether some of these aren't coming in an odd order. I am not worried or concerned... just scratching my head mostly.

On 23 February we received:

Hey folks, just to let you know that my AOS interview went very well in San Francisco. The guy who interviewed us was very laid back and laughed along with all our stories and comments. He asked me about previous trips to the States, to confirm my birthday, address etc. He asked how and where we met and how did we know it was serious. All in all, it was very easy. He asked for any documents we wanted to give him i.e. bank statements, phone bills etc. They already had my massive file on the table with all the previous papers I'd sent so they didn't need my marriage certificate or AOS forms. The guy pretty much approved us on the spot and said he saw no problems. I'm so happy and relieved it's all over. Thanks to all you guys on here for much support and positive comments. I saw lots of people in the waiting room with lawyers but I guess they wouldn't have needed them if they's know about this website. So glad I didn't waste money on a lawyer!

Good luck to the rest of you awaiting interviews, don't panic yourselves, you'll all be fine.

@ Mike, yes, that email sequence is what we received. I think the approval notice email is when the card is actually mailed out. You should receive it in a few days.

Sorry, I have been out of the country for the last 2 weeks, but got back yesterday to find my Green Card in the mail :star::star:

Not sure when it arrived exactly, but it is dated 2/9. Whew.

I travelled on my AP with no problems at all. Had to go through secondary screeing at Atlanta, but the officer was very friendly.

Removal of Conditions

12/18/11: I-751 Mailed - Express Mail to VSC

12/21/11: Arrived in Vermont signed by D. Renaud

12/22/11: NOA Date

12/23/11: Check Cashed

12/27/11: Received NOA in mail

Thanks so much Greg...and a big Thank You for keeping the spreadsheet updated, it really was helpful. This forum has been a huge help during this process. Now I guess I have to start thinking about lifting the restrictions in about 18 months - something to look forward to, I'll be sure to check back here often.

Green Card received today! Feels soooo good to know I don't have to carry my passport everywhere and I can now go and change my name properly with Social Security and the bank. What a journey it's been. Thank you beautiful VJ'ers. Congratualtions to all my fellow October filers who have also received theirs. Roll on 21 months XXX

Wonderful news! We did the same things right away: SSA office, bank... plus in our case the Motor Vehicles office for a learner's permit! We will be tracking with you in 21 months for RoC! Congratulations.
