Hi guys,

I had my interview yesterday in Phoenix, we drove down three 1/2 hours to get there. We waited for like fifteen minutes, the guard there was really nice and talked to us the whole time. The interview went by really fast in total he maybe asked like 3 questions, and just went over the application with us and verified everything. He then told us we were approved!!!!!!!! and explained the conditional green card. The year has started out great, the day before our interview I got a job offer at wells fargo and my husband and I finally moved into our own place. I didn't receive any email updates however, so I'm just patiently waiting.

Hi All!!

Been a long long time since I posted. Been busy with moving, getting new jobs, etc. Anyhow, we had our interview yesterday in downtown LA. We were of course approved. The guy was a bit of a jerk at first until he realized that he used to attend the church that I work for (I work at a church school), lol. After that he was nice and started stamping everything approved. Never looked at any fotos, just wanted to see things like our rental contracts with both names on it, bank cards, health insurance stuff. Okay, back to work. Approved approved. yay! BTW, DO NOT park in the Fedral Building parking. I payed $16 for like 2 hrs and then right down the street it was only $6 for the entire day, boo. but who cares, we're done for 2 years!!

Aww that stinks Well I'm glad they have a back-up option for those who have unreadable finger prints!

My wife and I just got back from our interview in Pittsburgh, about a four hour drive each way. When we got there, there were a few other people, but they left soon after, and we were the only ones there most of the time. Still, we weren't called in until about 40 minutes after our scheduled time. The interview itself was painless, and lasted at most 15 minutes. The lady who interviewed us just asked us some simple questions, and seemed very interested in our professional wedding pictures that everyone who marries a Chinese must have taken. She told us we were approved, and talked about filing to lift conditions two years from now. The whole thing seemed very informal. The drive there and back was the worst part of it.

I estimated that we should get the Green Card based on the timeline on VisaJourney and it was off exactly by 2 days!!! thanks everyone for your help, and good luck to anyone who is still waiting for their card.
