Guys, I got my NOA's. ( I-130, I-485, I - 765) It is written that applications were received. But my checks are not cleared yet! What does it mean? That they still didn't have a look at my petitions? I cant be sure that everything all right with my documents?

Also a little bit frustrated: when I try to register my receipt numbers for e-mail updated - it says there is no such thing and failed (something like that). Is it not my case number? Or is it just too early to say because they are not in the system yet? I mean I cant add my receipt numbers to my portofolio for e-mail updates.

Kate, I know what you mean - - I can't see my cases online or register for the email updates either. The lady at USCIS said, not all cases are put online, they can take anywhere between 1 month - 3months to get the status online. I know, it is stupid, but it is normal. Don't stress!! :thumbs:

Hello October AOS filers, I am getting my package ready to send off one day this week. I have one question, how much did you have to pay the civil surgeon to fill out the I-163?

Hi Lovesponge,

Welcome to the group! We paid Dr Arnold (who is a popular civil surgeon on this site) $30 to transcribe the vaccination data to the I-693; that price included return postage.

I already submitted our papers to USCIS and now realize I need the I-693. I called the local Civil Surgeon and he is filling out the form for us. I should be able to mail it out soon. I just need to wait for the case number and the NOA's

I have one more question, guys. I sent three checks:

$355 for I-130

$1,010 for I-485 and $70 for I-864 (Affidavit of Support) as in the uscis.gov was mentioned "although USCIS does not charge a fee for this form, the Department of State does charge a fee of $70 when the Affidavit of Support is reviewed domestically. "

But NOA's didn't send me a receipt about this $70. Will they cash it anyway?

Oh, $1010 will pay for all aos, ap and ead. So that's for the whole things in your aos package. If you read the intructions in I-485, you will find out about it.

Will they just destroy/return a separate check for I-864 in the amount of these $70 that i included? Or it can be a result of denial of all my package?

And I know when you send AOS package, its $1010 cover AP and EAD, but nothing is aid about I-864. That's why i am so confused. well in this case the amount for the AOS is correct (1010.00) so maybe they have another way for treat money that they not request.

Congrats on getting your NOA's... our package was received on the same date which was Oct 14 2009 (according to our timeline)... but you already receive your NOA's... i haven't receive mine though. I don't know what's going on... :whistle:
