Hi! Guys, sorry for the late update because I just arrived from a Christmas vacation in Georgia.. I received an email last December 21 from USCIS that my I-485 was in card production...

We are getting every last paper together for our interview. I'm kind of nervous but trying to stay positive. I hope they don't think we have things to hide just because we are nervous :wacko:

BTW, does anyone know if we're home-free for RFEs since we have the interview date? Could they still send one before or even after the interview?

Everything should be ok Rebecca...stay positive and be well prepared. I hope the interview going smoothly. Not sure about the RFE though, maybe someone can give a good answer on that. Good luck!! :star:

I got my SS card in the mail today.. it arrived 11 days after.

01/17/2012 - I-797 NOA1 hard copy received --- (1 year extension)

03/07/2012 - Biometrics Done!

Biometrics appointment: 11.19.2009 @ 1 pm

Card production ordered: 12.11.2009

I-765 touched: 12.14.2009

Card production ordered (again): 12.16.2009

I-765 approval letter email: 12.17.2009

I-765 touched: 12.18.2009

EAD Card received: 12.21.2009

applied for SS card:12.21.2009

received SS card: 12.28.2009

Interview letter received today. Interview scheduled for 2/8/10

Assuming everything goes well, how long does it take to get the green card in hand ?

-Also, how long does it take to get a re-entry permit ? Can you collect your re-entry permit abroad ?

Filing without a lawyer for my spouse (on H1-B with I-130 approved)

10/22/2009- Package sent to Chicago (I-130 approval, I-485, I-864, I-765, I-131, I-693 and G-325A) by Express UPS ground.

11/02/2009 $1010 Check cashed

11/09/2009 Received Biometrics appointment letter scheduled on 11/25/09

Got my Welcome the USA letter today in the mail!

Still waiting for my souveneir EAD! :lol: Wonder if they will even send it?

I got another GC production email on the 22nd of December, Notice mailed welcoming permanent resident on Dec 21st!

Another email update yesterday that said Approval Notice Sent....Is that when they actually mail out the GC?

I haven't received any card producation emails for EAD or anything further for AP....weird...
