Does anybody know how long does it take to get the SS card in the mail? I applied on Dec 17th. On the receipt I got, it says it takes about 2 weeks or so. But I wanna know if anybody here got theirs earlier than 2 weeks. Thank you!

I got mine back in about 10 days. I applied for mine before my GC too so that I would have it... so I've been able to start working as soon as i got my EAD. As soon as I get my GC in the mail I can then go and change my name on the SSN!

I just wanna share that i got my EAD card last saturday (approved last Dec 16/19) and i just received an email today that my AOS is under the "Document Prod & Oath Ceremony'! From an Initial interview stage - it jumped to the last stage! :) and as per the status it says that on Dec 22, they have ordered production of my card (I485). ;)

Please tell me that my GC has been approved! And also does that mean that i dont have to undergo interview anymore? Ive never received any interview appointment notice aside from the bio appointment.

Any thoughts? ;)

That's great news meant4eachother. Yes, your GC has been approved. Usually, if you don't get transferred to CSC, it means you will have the interview. But in your case you got approved without the transfer to CSC or the interview. Congrats.

Hello all,

I already posted on the September board, but since I filed at the end of September, I am technically an October filer so I decided to post here again.

We just sent my AOS package (I-130 , I-485 w/ the works, I-765, I-131) on 9/29 and it was delivered yesterday.

Obviously, no NOA yet. Let the waiting commence wacko.gif

I have checked my bank account about 7000 times since I woke up. I know they probably won't cash the check until at least Monday, but checking my account makes me feel like I'm somehow speeding up the process.

Who would have thought that I'd be so anxious to have my money taken ?

I have an interview also for my AOS on Jan. 19, 2009 at 8am. It's possible to get my GC soon . What do u think? I did't received any noticed for my I-765. I filed the papers August 12. 2009 for my AOS,EAD,and I-130 July 12, 2009. Thanks
