My AP is past est approval time, I'm still in timeframe for EAD, just really worried something is wrong!

I guess on the bright side MAYBE..... If Xmas holidays doesn't slow things down too much MIGHT have GC approval early Jan!

but i was wonderin i got an email about card production ordered both on my EAD and AP, status written on USCIS said card production ordered as well but NO approval email recieved....

Any ideas guys?

For EAD it's normal to first get a card production email...meaning you were approved and they ordered the card from the EAD factory. Within the next week or so you should get another EAD card production email and an approval email, but some have received the card without receiving the approval email.

For AP we only received one email: approval notice sent.

Dont worry Minnew, you will hear something from them latest next week.

I just got my EAD card today..8 days exactly after my first EAD approval email..

Congrats KateMunter !! I also received my EAD in the mail today!!! :dance::dance: Looking forward tomorrow to get the SSN and reinstating my DL.

Congrats hakuna! Finally!! hopefully I get mine tomorrow or the end of this week!

Congrats to those who got more approvals & best wishes to those still waiting! Just think that in the next few months or so we'll all be done with USCIS for 2 years and then all the waiting will be worth it! :star:

Most of my fellow Oct filers here seem to have their touches on AOS and EAD or AP but it look like the touches I've got are only on AOS . I understand the RFE I had last time may cause the delay on this process but so far no news either on my EAD+AP (last touches on Oct'23)

Does USCIS process those applications separately?

I wonder what's goin on with my EAD/AP. :unsure:
