Wow. The interview letters and approvals start coming fast when they come. Looking at Greg's spreadsheet, it's like looking at a train coming down the tracks. Almost everybody in the first half of the month has their approval or interview date now.

Yes and the train stops with Beth and Me at the beginning of the second half of the month. :-( Here's hoping we will see an IL soon. I am certainly aware that Greg waited longer than we have so far for his IL. So since Greg didn't complain - we shall not either. Patience! That's the ticket!

BTW I put together a redacted and concatenated spread sheet with both September and October K1 (only) filers, leaving out the AP/EAD stuff. Of the 25 September K1 filers -10 are from the second haft of September. One one is waiting for a card from the first half of September, but of the ten in the second half five are still waiting for cards and of them 3 have an interview date, one had been transferred and is waiting and one did not get transferred and does not have an IL.

Those ten are in amazing juxtaposition to our first 16 (10 AOS / 4 IL / only 2 transferred and waiting).

Mike, you have had a long wait. Plus no EAD or AP along the way to give you the feeling of progress. Hopefully you'll get the interview letter soon. I assume the delay is due to the workload at the local USCIS office.

The train moves fast, but doesn't always have everyone on board.

Congrats Inky on receiving the GC.

There's room for optimism: the later September filers may not be as diligent about updating their spreadsheet maintainer as we are :)

And remember, even if the later September filers aren't checking in, the average intervals at the top of the spreadsheet are still quite accurate. Those intervals are the main source of info as to when you can expect things: not how many people above or below you are still missing theirs. Even if it feels like it's been quite a bit longer for you than it has been for people who's NOA is close to yours, you're probably still well within the average range. It's not time to worry until your time from NOA-to-whatever becomes a significant outlier, relative to population of the whole two months.

Thank you! Good luck to you too ;) I didnt put I was a permanent resident, thanks for the advice.

no IL yet.....but got an email saying EAD approval has been mailed..

Yes we both got an email saying our EAD approval has been mailed..

guys i have a question.... I am applying for jobs but when they ask me online am I authorized to work do I put yes? I don't want to get into some kind of trouble. I put yes since the next question was "three days after hire will you be able to provide documentation?" I figured I might get my EAD card next week( approved Dec. 11) and I will have it on time. What do you guys think?

if you are authorized then yes you put yes. Which is what you are. Hopefully it does come soon for you in the mail.

NEVER put on your resume that you are a green card holder, never show them your green card or anything untill you have the job! people have been refused jobs because they show green cards to early on in the job interview process. A lot of employers see a green card and think " oh god i have to sponcer this person to work here " which they DONT!

Good luck with the job hunt Moni, ill be starting soon too !

Hi HeatDeath!

Actually the September Maintainer was doing fine! I am no longer using his work (I only did that as a starting point). I am checking every user as well as reading their forum. Almost all of them are logging in just about every day. They are just waiting and feeling increasingly impatient.

Still Beth and I are actually within the normal time frame - it's just a matter of waiting. In the meantime we are putting together an album including: (1) the quitclaim deed to my house and property to add Beth, (3) the re-titling of Beth's car to have both our names on it, (3) bills and letters in both our names, travel receipts following the wedding, wedding certificate, wedding photos, birthday party photos, thanksgiving photos, photos at the Statue of Liberty, etc... Hopefully we will have enough in the album when the time comes.
