Ok guys i have a question and i know that i'm getting paranoid. Few weeks ago i received this notice:

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

The question that i have is does it meant that it's transfer to California or to my homestate office. Thanks for any replys.

if it was transfered to california service center then it would say right on it that it was transfered to california service center. If it does not have that on the notice then its likely it is not at CSC.

Hello,

Today I received my interview appointment letter, for Januray 15th. On the list they give you of stuff to bring to the interview, they say to bring the I-693 if you haven't already submitted it. The thing is that I never sent them that, and they never asked for it with a RFE, I guess because I gave them the medical examination and vaccination info in a closed envelope when I entered the country.

Does anybody know if I need to bring that or not? Any ideas?

Elafito, my husband didnt submit the I-693 also, cuz he gave the medical exam and vaccination in the seal envelope when he entered the country, so Im thinking the same thing, if we should do one or what? we never received RFE also... i hope somebody knows...

Im NOT saying this is what you should do or will happen for you but i will share my story of 693.

I called the civil surgeon near me in Nebraska. They told me he was on vacation for a week.

I filed my AOS with the copy of the vaccination sheet the medical office gave me from my k1 medical, then later went and tried to get the 693. Was Transfered to CSC - Finally got the 693 incase of RFE for it.

No RFE for it, and approved AOS.

I had ONE shot for the gardasil. Never finished the series of them. All of my shots were up-to-date accept for the gardasil one.

In the end the 37$ 693 is sitting here in my portfolio with the rest of my papers.

Inky, I have a question, since you went through K1 visa, did u do medical exam or did DS 3025 in your home country and gave it at POE? now Im being paranoid... just want to get ready for everything for the interview for my husband.. thanks

It means that your I-485 was transferred to California. This is a good news because you won't have an interview for your AOS.

I had a full medical in canada, the office gave me a sheet that had vaccinations listed on it and check marks by the ones I had and it was signed and dated by the dr and stamped by the office. I sent that in and kept a 693 vaccination transcription just incase for RFE. I think for peace of mind if you can get a low price 693 you may want to get one done up. If not bring your original vaccination sheet from the medical for k1 from your home country. Explain that everywhere was expencive, your medical is still valid( should be still valid if you are AOSing within the year your medical was done ) and you are up to date on all your shots. I cant say for sure it would work but if you cant get a 693 it is worth trying.

Dont worry you still have time to be transfered to CSC if it is still early on in your processing.

I got a confusion as well if where did they transfer your I-485. It was not stated there that your I-485 was transferred to CSC.

Hey Anisa, I had a friend who filed for his AOS in Aug 2008. He received this message as well. I think his case and your case are the same. He was from Arizona and his papers was transferred at a USCIS office in Arizona. I'm guessing yours is processing at your state. you shouldn't worry much! I think the process for your case will be faster.
