What is this document? the IL?I just received this email from USCIS.

Hmm KM I am not sure about that one. Whatever it is, at least it's an update!! Could it be an approval without an interview????

Its probably interview letter, sounds like it anyways since they say document a couple of times.

got two emails today!! a welcome notice for being a permanent residence and an approval for my EAD!! :dance::dance:

and now its time for job hunting :whistle: I'll start sending resume tomorrow :thumbs:

I never got that and i was transfered too. So it sounds a lot more like its interview letter.

You got your welcome notice and your EAD approval emails on the same day?

Welcome notice usually only precedes GC by a few days. You may very well get your GC before your EAD!

I've read of that happening to a few other people on here. Sure makes the EAD feel pretty useless.

I only had my EAD about 2 weeks before my GC showed up. That's barely enough time to really start job hunting, let alone get hired and use it. So I've now got a totally useless USCIS card here.

Sure is pretty and shiny though. Looks cool when you hold the two cards together B)

11/24/09 - Received e-mail of approval notice on I-131, EAD card ordered, I-485 touched

11/25/09 - I-131 & I-765 touched

11/26/09 - I-131 touched

11/27/09 - I-131 touched

11/27/09 - Received another biometric appt letter for 12/3/09

11/28/09 - Received AP document in the mail

That seems to be happening a lot!! What is going on with USCIS...did they hire new people who can't type out addresses correctly?! :blink: I hope you can get it fixed quickly!
