i did my biometrics today at 11am, it was so fast and the lady there is sooo friendly to me, so no problem at all.

Hey so I just got an email stating that my AP had been approved and a notice was sent yesterday. Nothing about EAD. I'm happy though. I was starting to think my case file had become someones permnant coaster!

HI GUYS!

I Just discover VJ and is very cool. (I hope is not to late to take part of the october filers )

Recently on 10/23 i send all the papers for the AOS that were in the USCIS website. (I485, I30, I765, I693) and they send me the recipt on 10/29. I can see the status online since 11/16

But i also notice in VJ that many people send a form DS-230 that i dint send. (is not on the list of green card based forms)

Do I have to wait until they give an answer to send that form?

Hi joshue, welcome to VJ and the October AOS filers. I'll add you to our October filers spreadsheet (see link below). Just need to know a few things:

- what Visa type are you adjusting from?

- what is the notice date on your NOA?

- what is your local ASC office (where you will have your biometrics appt)?

The DS-230 is not part of the AOS package.

Im adjusting from a O-1, the notice date is 10/29 and the ASC office i just find out is in Brooklyn,

Today i got the biometrics appointment. for 12/02.

Let's see how fast (or slow) is the USCIS in this area.

Just got an e-mail from USCIS few minutes ago letting me know my I-765 was approved !!!!

Current Status:Card production ordered. On November 16, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. I just receive this email On November 19, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER but i haven't got a touch for my AP/EAD since October 24. Hopefully i'll get an aproval soon.

Hi All, I wish to know the different between National Benefit Center and California Service Center...I received mail I-4859 was transfered to NBC while I notice most perople were trasnsfered to CSC....Please advice

According to my understanding, NBC is set up to do the pre-interview case processing for the local office. If your case was transferred to NBC, it simply means that you need to show up for interview in order to get your AOS approved versus there's no interview for the cases transferred to CSC..
