How old is the child?

Likely in Kiev it will probably be none... but if they do it will be age appropriate...

She just turned 20.

You have to be concerned about her aging out! When you get to the US get married as soon as possible and summit to adjust status ASAP also.

That is the plan. Hope to be married before New Years and the AOS submitted soon afterwards.

She just turned 20.

Is she single? What does she look like?

She is single and as beautiful as her mother. I'm already setting an "interview" room with lots of big, sharp objects on the wall :)

Be there, nonchalantly, cleaning your guns when the boys come to call! No fair, some lucky US guy is gonna get to snatch up a Ukrainian wonder woman without having to go through the process! Hardly seems fair. Our sons say they are going to get their citizenship, then head back to Ukraine to import their own wife. LOL

I always wanted a daughter just so I could mess with the boys that came calling...four sons...damn! Have fun Dave!

Sadly the Apartment complex rules say no guns on the property, but they said nothing about Claymores. And I do mean the weapon of choice for any Clansman, and not the kind that goes boom. Nothing instills fear more than 5 feet of sharpened steel. ;)

Anyway I think she will be importing her own Groom from the old country.

Well, the scariness of a claymore depends on what you look like yourself. I would recommend a beard and trying to get hair to grow bushily on your knuckles. Also, facial scars help.

Sadly the Apartment complex rules say no guns on the property,

Landlords cannot restrict firearm ownership on property they rent out or lease to an individual. A tennant has the right to possess any firearm on their rental property they are legally allowed to possess elsewhere in their state.

I'm pretty sure most folks are just as scared of the kind that go boom. 700+ steel balls being pushed by C-4 is nothing to sneeze at.

The dudes with Claymore swords just remind me of the guys on the credit card commercials!

Dave,

I don't think you have to worry about her being asked questions much in the interview. It is pretty well understood that the children will follow the custodial parent if not leaving at the same time. My stepson did not arrive until a few months before he turned 21 since he was attending school. He did his own interview and it wasn't a problem. The really big issue is being under the age of 21 and applying for the K-2 visa within one year of the interview date.

I'm sure you will be beating many guys away from your new daughter. If she needs to speak with a young Ukrainian man, my son is 23, 6' 1", blonde about 165 pounds and very friendly. His mother is constantly worried about him and the growing number of Russian speaking young ladies surrounding him.

:D :D Well she just turned 20 in September so the AOS will not be an issue. She is also blond and about 5'7 without spiked heels :) but I think that with the way things are going with her current boyfriend, I may be co-sponsoring a K-1 in a few years. But Hey I will keep your offer open :D
