i think a person should not be put on AP based on their religion or race. a person should be placed on AP if the relationship between the petitioner and the beneficiary just doesnt seem to match... im going to start a thread...who should really be on AP?

May 18, 2009: Gave email add to NVC

May 28, 2009: Received DS 3032 / I-864 Bill

June 1, 2009: Paid I-864 Bill

June 5, 2009: sent AOS stuff

June 29, 2009: sent DS 230

June 28 - Aug. 8: i spent time with my boys in the philippines

IN A BIG HUGE BLUR...OUR CASE WAS COMPLETED AUGUST 5, 2009 (AFTER RFE: HUSBAND'S ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE) AND MY HUSBANDS INTERVIEW WILL BE SEPTEMBER 25, 2009...WE HOPE AND PRAY WE GET IT!

CURRENTLY DOING: PREPARING DOCUMENTS FOR MY SON'S PETITION!

I agree, I don't think it is right, just how it is at the moment... I feel terrible for all the people waiting just be be united with their SO and families who are delayed because of a few bad apples.... I hope that your AP is a short one and this brief time apart will soon just be a distant memory!

yeah, i agree...it's not the applicant's fault to be born in Pakistan or in Middle East countries..it's just unfair to be put on AP just because you're from there. Waiting for petition's approval is already like a living hell, what more if you're ALREADY there and yet put on AP? I think they should do "extra" background/security checks BEFORE and NOT AFTER the interview so once the applicant passed the interview, he/she will be ready to fly to reunite with the loved one..not to wait for additional days or weeks (or even months), that would be very frustrating!

REMOVING of CONDITIONS
December 22, 2011-- I-751 mailed

January 28, 2013-- Biometrics

May 22, 2013-- Interview Passed- Officially a US Citizen!

Yes, it does seem rather STUPID to approve someone in the US THEN put them on AP for more checks??? Just do it all at once and quit giving people such ambigous answers like "maybe in 6 weeks" #######!!!

Could be bad timing as a terrorist immigrant was arrested in the US yesterday.

Please don't use capitals.

It's a GOOD sign they kept his passport. When my fiance was denied they took hers.

hi,

Haole can i ask you?why is your fiancee got denied before?what's the reason?can u share it with me?coz im scared about mine..i dont have any troubles during the pre screener and CO interview they ask me few questions,but at the end CO said before they approved my visa he said needs to wait for my medical result and he give white sleep..he give me back the money remittances,cards,and pictures..and some other documents was ask by pre screener they keep it..also with my passport..im clueless!

March 10,2010------------Interview for my AOS @ 9am (done) and waiting for the result.. whew...

March 22,2010------------Received my Greencard!so happy!
