Hi guys,

I have a little situation which leads to this question, i don't know if it's silly but i just want some advice on it... Im waiting for some IRS paperwork from my husband so we can send out the AOS forms and I was informed on the website it wouldn't take long to process it, and after that period of time was over we called the IRS and apparently it takes 2 extra weeks to process that darn thing, but i had already printed out the forms and everything and dated them 2 weeks back.... so when I get that paperwork in the mail and send the forms out, should I print them again with a new date or the date from 2 weeks ago shouldn't be a problem.......? :T

Thanks for the help! :)

What are you trying to get from the IRS? Transcripts?

If so, you can get the IRS to fax them over to you right now (takes about 20 mins or so). Just call the number listed on the IRS site (do a search for transcripts)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
