No online case status? has this happened to anyone??

:unsure: I filed in July to the VSC Till today, i am unable to see my case online, i called the hotline, and they told me they were backlogged to entered my case online, we did the biometrics already and they told us they updated it, has this every happened to anyone before Edited by Ameridien

Hi Agnieska, just try to put receipt number of your Biometrics appointment on the CASE ONLINE space! this what I did and it works!

I was personally trying to enter the consulate case number (for me beginning with MTL), but it's actually the receipt number from the NOA1 that will let you check status online. top left corner, see the image here

don't know if that helps or not. I can now see my case online, but they have a backlog of updating anything on it, I think.

Make sure that you are using the case number from the BIOMETRICS letter and not the one from the NOA. The one from the NOA doesn't work. I am not sure how good case status online is for VSC. My case status has not changed once sinceit was initially entered. It still has last date as May 21, 2009, where it states my application was received. I already have an approval letter. I think that they don't bother with case updates much.

02/09/2005-------Sent in request to Congressional office for assistance with expediting EAD.

02/13/2007 -------- EAD Approved!

02/26/2007 - ------EAD received

Removal of Conditions:

05/12/2009 -- Overnighted application by USPS express mail (VSC).

05/14/2009 -- Green Card expired.

05/23/2009 --- Check cleared bank.

05/26/2009 -- Received NOA (NOA date May 15, 2009, guess they aren't deporting me).

05/29/2009- Biometrics Notice date

06/01/2009- Received Biometrics Letter

06/18/2009 - Biometrics

09/23/2009 - date of decision to approve (letter received), just waiting for card. No online updates whatsoever.
