AP questions

not sure what to put for part 3, i have no intended date of departure. i just want the AP for just in case I need to or want to leave and go back to Canada for a week. and for part 7 how exactly do I explain why I qualify for AP?

this is very confusing but then again we're talking about the govt, in no way would they be able to make things simple.

When my wife applied for her AP, she just explained that her mother was not in good health and wanted to have the AP in case it was necessary to travel before her green card was granted. She had no specific date of travel. She explained all of this in a covering letter. The AP was granted, no questions asked.

You qualify for AP because you entered as a K1, have applied for adjustment of status, and are waiting for the application to be adjudicated.
