I sent my K-1 visa package on August 1, 2009 and yesterday on September 24th I received my NAO2. (51 days) I am now preparing for the next step for my fiance - her physical and interview. Good luck to others in VSC they are working hard to assist us.

GRATS! Makes me wish I could have filed there instead of CSC... :(

The wonder of it all! Trust me, you wouldn't have said that a few months back when the cases were flying out of CSC compared to VSC who'd taken a long holiday! However, it must be said, some of the cases coming out of VSC are exceedingly fast!

Yes I saw the one finished in 31 days. Thats great and thanks to all . I wish everyone a quick response also so they can be with their loved ones as soon as possible. Good luck to all.

I just updated the timeline projection in my signature:

09/11/2009 My I129f may be adjudicated between January 6 and January 23, 2010.

09/25/2009 My I129f may be adjudicated between December 12 and December 29, 2010.

In 14 days the backlog seems to have shrunk by 24 days.

Either they are working faster or the load is getting a lot lighter (maybe both).

CSC seems to be slowing down :(

Best of luck to ya, CSC Mafia, but the government works in mysterious ways.

You would expect things to average out to a mediocre median value, but

government agencies can't even stick to that.

Lucky for VSC clients

It runs in cycles. When we were at VSC people at CSC were regularly being approved up to 2 months ahead of their vermont counterparts.

6 months before we filed a couple of friends of ours were saying VSC was kicking them out and being at CSC was like pulling teeth. There is a complete lack of consistency...

Yes, Gov't. work is not known for its rationality or common sense. I guess we'll never no why one service center or another suddenly speeds up or slows down. Good News for VSC clients.

I guess every service center has their turn. CSC's last approval was 9/22/09 and have not seen any after that. There has been no August approvals for CSC.

Yeah, sure... just got my NOA2 after 155 days at VSC.

Very quick and decisive move, indeed! Praise VSC!

Yeah, nice of them to come back and clean up the mess they left behind after cherry-picking to pad their stats, eh?

Indeed. All's well that ends well!

Hi,

I received the NOA2 yesterday as well....! 31 days after NOA1 from Vermont.

I am so excited!!!!!! Thanks to all your help, tips and posts!!!

Remember, no need for a lawyer!

Good luck to you all!

I'm curious - you mailed your I-129F on 8/13, but your timeline says 8/24 for NOA1. Are you sure that's right? Is 8/24 the date printed on the NOA1, or is it the date the hard copy arrived in the mail?
