CSC has been pretty slow the past few days. The last approval was on 9/22/09. There has not been any approvals after that. Maybe all of us with touches will get the same approval dates.

CSC is indeed behind, but I have seen some approvals, including mine this week. I filed March 17, 2009. I got a touch on Sept 20 and Sept 21. Then on Sept 24, 2009, I got my approval in the mail, but it was dated Sept 18, 2009---a date that was not logged in as even being touched. Apparently it had come to my post office box on the 23rd. I guess to make a long story short, maybe CSC is sending out your Approvals too, but are behind in changing your statuses. My status is still llisted as "Under Review".

I wish you all the best and hope that your approvals are in the mail. Check your post office boxes and home mail boxes everyday. I can't believe that I skipped a day checking my post office box when my approval was waiting for me. I went through one more day and night of agony needlessly. Don't wait for your alert online. Stay on top of your mailboxes, especially if you use a post office box.

Remain hopeful.

Folks - I am a victim of RFE as well.

Its crazy. I am absolutely positive that I had sent our pp pics and now they are requesting them. However the issues is slightly complicated..While reviewing the application that I had sent to USCIS (i have a copy of the whole thing), I noticed that my wife must have forgot to put her name in our native language in one of the G325 form (out of 4 copies). I wonder if USCIS overlooked this issue. THe RFE doesn't say anything about it....I was debating whether I should send them a copy of G325 along with the pictures or should I just stay put and do nothing..Please advice..Thanks,

I've read that some VJ members were sending documents if they notice that they missed something in initial application. Just send them a letter explaining why and it should be ok.

You could try it, but it is very likely your file will never be matched up with the correction and you will still get an RFE.

It's been a long time since you submitted RFE reply. I am surprised you are not approved yet. They usually take max two weeks.

You just recently filed and that is good that they gave you an RFE this early. I think you should submit what they want and do not send anything extra.

Writing in native language is not an important, and a lot of people do not do this.

Thanks for the confidence I really need it at this point :). Your case gives me some hope that this could be very indeed true with my case.

So, VSC has had approvals on 9/24/09 and 9/25/09. What is going on with CSC? They should not stop now and they need to start rolling out some more NOA2's.

A touch is when you see the date under the "Last Updated" column change, but did not receive any letter or notice from the USCIS after that.

Hi

Is touch the same as last updated? Meaning if it says last updated on.. that is the touch?

Yes, and it changes when you get an update on your file, or sometimes even without an update on your status the date will change.

Still no approvals on Igors list after 9/22. I thought maybe someone might of recieved something in their mail box. I hope next week brings us all good news :).

Hey Star - Did you write anything on the outside of the RFE return envelop such as "RFE" etc..?

I didn't. Hope that doesn't delay processing. I am assuming they have a seperate department within to process RFE's..Sunce I haven;t written anything hope that doesn't deplay it..

No, my attorney just mailed it out with the envelope that was enclosed. But, I heard that if you send it to the Service Center address at Laguna Niguel via Fed-Ex and put attn: RFE it gets their faster. This is not the PO box address, but the actual address of the service center. I mentioned this to one of the May 09 filers that got an RFE and it got their faster and she got an approval shortly. The legal secretary at my lawyers office kept insisting to use the PO Box, and I just did not want to argue with her. So, I let them send it via USPS. Anyways, but you already sent yours off.

But, I do feel they give RFE's a more priority than the regular petitions. So, don't worry yours will get their soon.

Yes, I am sure they will transfer it to the officer that is pending this additional evidence. You are still ahead of schedule, and you will be fine. They are speeding things up (just slowed down a bit last week) and are on top of the petitions now I am sure you will get your approval sooner than expected.
