We have sent the DS-230 to the London Embassy. We obviously have tracking on the envelope so will know when it arrives, how will we know if the form has been accepted and the Embassy thinks it is correct?

11/2007 - Married in UK

05/2009 - Filed I-130 at London USCIS

05/2009 - Received NOA1

05/2009 - Received letter requesting further information

06/2009 - Sent further information to London USCIS

07/2009 - Received NOA2

10/2009 - Sent DS-2001 Checklist

11/2009 - Medical Exam

12/2009 - Interview - Approved!

We have sent the DS-230 to the London Embassy. We obviously have tracking on the envelope so will know when it arrives, how will we know if the form has been accepted and the Embassy thinks it is correct?

The next step will be an interview date. They don't send you confirmation of receiving the forms, but they will issue you an interview date. It took almost a month to get an interview date from the time I sent the DS-230 in. I ended up calling the DOS and they told me about the date before we received the letter from the Embassy.

Married in USA - 24 April 2009

I-130 Sent - 22 June 2009

Petition received and payment taken - 26 June 2009

NOA1 received - 13 July 2009

NOA2 received - 28 July 2009

Packet 3 received - 3 August 2009

Medical booked - 20 August 2009

Packet 3 returned - 6 August 2009

Medical booked for 20 August 2009 - complete pending blood test results

Interview - 14 September - We've been approved!! We've got the visa!!

Tickets booked! Moving on 26 December! Can't wait!!
