My Fiancee and I are just about ready for our interview. She lives in Ecuador and she is filling out the 2 documents required before we request our interview.Forms DS156 and DS156K. When she filled out the DS156 she made a couple mistakes, she put the wrong date on one of her visits to the US and the other mistakes was she misspelled my last name. keystroke error.... After you finish that document it gives you a number on the document and then it gets electronically sent somewhere and then it gives you the option of printing it. Well she decided to fill out a new document and made the corrections and of course it gave her a new number. What should we do now? There is two documents sent somewhere. does anyone have any ideas....HELP

E-mail IVGuayaquil@state.gov and explain the situation. They should respond within 48 hours. Print out & bring EVERYTHING that they send you in response.

Are you going to be there at the interview, dude, and armed with relationship evidence? Regardless of what happens, please provide & post a full description of your consular officer. This is for reasons that will be explained later, si man.

She can fill it out again. The information is not sent anywhere electronically, but you need the number at the bottom the form, when you go into the interview.. but you can fill out multiple forms.. just be sure to take the LAST one filled out to the interview.

We had this happen, when we were applying for a visitor visa and filled out 5 forms before we had one without errors. No problem.. just be sure to take the correct one to the interview. Destroy the other copies so you don't take the wrong one by mistake.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
