Its not appropriate, but as far as the "impressionable kids" go - what exactly is this going to do to them?

I see, so no harm done. Let every teacher do it then right? Why do you disagree with it then, if it can't damage a kid? Brainwashing much?

I guess it will turn them into good little Obama followers, thats the objective right?

I already told you, I don't agree with it - how many more times do you want me to repeat myself?

What is the problem here Joe? Am I not outraged enough for your liking? Should I be calling the school to complain? How about sending Anthrax letters to the teacher's home?

Just how angry should I be about this, Joe?

Or perhaps, just perhaps what I have (and you lack) is the ability to put things into some kind of perspective via the realization that elementary school kids are not going to be unduly influenced by a class sing-a-long by one misguided teacher.

Must be striking a cord, you said ** again.

If it isn't going to adversely affect the kids, then why do you disagree with it? Heck, the kids are having fun aren't they? So whats wrong with it?

Well its a matter of parental choice isn't it, whether or not you want to expose your kids to something like this.

Beyond that its a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.

Ok. Well, my problem is the subject as well. Teaching kids to worship Obama (or anyone)

Danno, this is not a conspiracy. If this teacher has used her position to influence her charges politically in any shape or form then disciplined they must be. It is not the place of a public servant to spread an ideological message, period.

That said however, there is no evidence that this is part of some wider movement on the left to subvert the political process. All you currently have is one idiotic teacher who thinks the sun shines out of Obama's ####### and wants to share this misguided message. Stupid is as stupid does.

Thanks for offering an example which justifies your claim this is common with other presidents.

Okay.. I'll repeat myself: "Who said it was a conspiracy?" If Christians were randomly using their Class rooms to "lead kids to the Lord" would it matter if it were a conspiracy or an outgrowth of the school environment?

So the Conspiracy angle is not important to me.

What I have suggested is.. There is a mood among too many lib teachers where this kind of thing is acceptable, had this vid clip never surfaced, it would have been "just another public school production."
