urgent question please

I got a ref on my AOS ( i got an email today saying they mailed it to me yesterday )

my question is will this delay my other employment petition ? i called uscis and they said they are two separate petitions , they said it just delays AOS , I got a ref begining of this month for AOS , then again 23rd ,

can it be more evedience or they are not satisfied with the papers I sent ?

They are obviously actively working on your case. RFE's though annoying indicate that the file is being put together to process the application and can be viewed as a good thing. (Unless it is for something impossible like an autographed copy of a dead grandparent's dog with an original signature) There is no relationship between the EAD application and the AOS application, each stands and falls on its own merits. Unfortunately the question of whether it is for the same or different information has to wait (grrrrrr how many times is the word "wait" used on this board) for the notice to arrive. What was the original RFE for and how did you respond to it?

the ref said that the affidavit of support form was old one , but my lawyer sent a new one , or he says he did ,

I will remove him from the case but i was just waiting , anyway i got an email today saying they mailed me a ref for evidence , Can it be the same one or a new one?

at least it means that the EAD is processing , hahaha , I dont want to have no job and no Green Card ,hahah

I was very frustrated when i got a text message from uscis , I just did my biomitrics today then got this bad news after 5 hours, but life goes on , hahah ,

1. They are not petitions, they are applications

2. Yes it will delay everything IF they were filed together and ONE fee was paid for the I-485. Had the EAD or AP been filed earlier or separately wand you had paid the $340 fee, then NO it would not be affected. However as soon as you return the RFE processing will begin again on all three items. The letter you receive in the mail will explain this.
