Hi, my friend's fiancee visa was interview was denied so they filed for cr1 and now the nvc just approved it and waiting her case to arrive at USEM. Her question is that, does she needs another medical exam again for the cr1? She had medical exam on her k1. I really don't know about this that's why I need your help. Thanks

April 22, 2008 I-129F NOA1
Aug. 25, 2008 I-129F NOA2
Aug. 28, 2008 NVC left
Sept. 09, 2008 Consulate received
Sept. 16, 2008 Appointment notice received
Sept. 23, 2008 Filed Jap. police clearance
Sept. 24-25, 2008 Medical exam Done. Thank God I'm healthy
Oct. 03, 2008 Interview date
Nov. 11, 2008 Got a call from Jap. Embassy PC ready for pick up
Nov. 13, 2008 Picked up and submitted the Police clearance to USEM
Nov. 28, 2008 Visa is ready for delivery
Dec. 02, 2008 Visa in transit to Cebu (delayed bcuz Dec. 1 was holiday)
Dec. 03, 2008 Visa received abot na jud tawn Thank you Lord.
Dec. 08, 2008 POE Hawaii, Honolulu
Dec. 09, 2008 Got married (wedding and honeymoon in Hawaii)
Dec. 12, 2008 Newly wed couple flew to SFO, CA

Feb. 04, 2009 USCIS received AOS docs.
Feb. 12, 2009 NOA received (AOS and EAD)
Feb. 13, 2009 Biometrics appointment received
Feb. 25, 2009 Biometrics schedule (10 AM) San Francisco DONE

April 21, 2009 Interview (APPROVED) (2 months 17 days from filing)

April 28, 2009 Welcome Letter received
May 2, 2009 GREEN CARD received (2 months and 29 days)

June 11, 2009 SSN Card received in mail

Naturalization

April 30, 2013 N-400 mailed (i used regular mail not express)

Yes, because I believe its beyond 6 months already since the last time she had her medical at St. Lukes. And she had a different Case number, the only thing that she will not undergo anymore was the shots. But if she had her HPV vaccine before, I guess she can take the next shot for it.

Yes, because I believe its beyond 6 months already since the last time she had her medical at St. Lukes. And she had a different Case number, the only thing that she will not undergo anymore was the shots. But if she had her HPV vaccine before, I guess she can take the next shot for it.

i dont know when was her k1 medical exam but what if it is within 6 month period since she had her k1 med exam? does she still needs another exam?

ps. sorry about the error in my first post "k1 visa was interview was denied". correction "k1 visa interview was denied" hehehe

I see.

I have insufficient knowledge on that. But IMOHO, I think the medical is still valid if its below 6 months upon her interview. All she has to do is to present her appointment letter or approval notice at St Lukes and St Luke's staff will extract her previous medical reports.

Then prolly, they will forward another copy of her medical results to USEM.

tell her to go to saint lukes and ask if its still valid..bring all the requirements like passport, appointment letter and few 2x2 pics(in case its needed).
